Hi, I’m Octavia, a third-year electrical engineering student and private tutor. I’ve been passionate about math and science for as long as I can remember and started tutoring math when I was in high school. After moving to San Diego for college, I turned my passion into a business to help fund my education.

My goal is to not only help students improve their math skills but also build the confidence they need to succeed. I’m excited to share my knowledge and help you achieve your academic goals!

  • In 2017, my son Daniel was struggling with middle school math. We heard about Octavia offering virtual tutoring to those struggling specifically in math. She tutored him for an hour once a week and was on time, well-prepared, and organized. She was friendly, interacted well with my son, and broke things down so he could understand where he was going wrong. Daniel improved his math grade from a low C to a B within a couple of months of tutoring. I would highly recommend Octavia as a math tutor. She has the gift of being able to interact with kids on their level and help them improve their math skills.

    Payments are made in advance to confirm your booking. Sessions are unable to be scheduled or held without payment.

  • Cancellation & Rescheduling

    Cancellations and missed sessions are non-refundable. Rescheduling is allowed with at least 48 hours’ notice. If I need to cancel for any reason, you may choose between a full refund or rescheduling for a later date.
